Auto Unlock is not working on second phone

For those still looking for solution:

The problem is that you added another phone via invitation code (not by Bluetooth directly). You can check it - go into Bluetooth settings and try to connect to Nuki. Phone on which Auto Unlock works will connect, the second one will fail.

How to fix?

On the second phone, remove the nuki device in the app.

Then re-add it in the app by Bluetooth - go near the lock, hold the button for 5 seconds and voila. Now set up Auto Unlock and it will work. (example: now go into Bluetooth settings and it will connect to Nuki with no problems)

Just for clarification: Did you use an Android or iOS phone as “2nd phone”?

Having the same issue.
Our devices are all Android.
After installing and setting up the smartlock at my home, following all the standard steps and then added my wife by invitation code. App was instaled on her phone and that’s it.
Auto unlock always worked with her and randomly worked with my phone, which is the main device. Now does not work anymore.
If I remove the smart lock from my phone and re-add it, will I lose all settings and configurations or these will be restored?

Regardless, I’m a bit confuse since the auto unlock is working perfectly on second phone which was added by invitation code and not working on the primary phone which was the one used for initial installation so added via bluetooth
