Auto-Lock enable/disable with timer or via API

Nuki SmartLock Go and Pro.

Summary

It would be nice if Auto-Lock could be enabled/disabled with a timer or with an API. (I prefer Matter but I don’t think that there will be an endpoint for this)

Features

  • Timer option to enable/disable Auto-Lock.
  • Some kind of API to enable/disable Auto-Lock from my home automation.

Reason

I don’t want to lock the door all the time during the day. At the moment I can lock the door automatically with a timer in the evening in case I forgot to lock the door, but if someone opens the door again and forgets to close it after the timer has closed the door it will just stay open.

Examples

Lock the door automatically after a certain time in the evening and disable Auto-Lock in in the morning.

There is already an existing feature called Night mode.
Does that already cover your needs?

@Zoran Thanks for the hint. I completely missed that. I will test this and see if it works for me.

But it would be nice to have some more control over this. For example to simply have the option for different times for every day of the week like with the timers. Or an API that can control the Auto-Lock so I could handle even more complex scenarios using my home automation.
