I am absolutely frustrated. Again and again I have issues with opening my door controlled by the Nuki opener with my Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Most of the time I take my smartphone with me, so auto ring to open is happening and I don’t have to use the watch, but there are a few times, like going for a run or when I miss my phone at home, that I need the watch to open the door.
And 3 out of 5 times it’s not working. The last time this was happening it took weeks for the support to figure out what’s the issue, and after sending logs and screenshots over and over again it was a software bug. and i am pretty sure, as I reinstalled all my applications and rebootet all my devices serveral times, that theres again a problem within the software.
the last time this happened i needed to wait 45 minutes in freezing rain after a long run. the my main reason for the nuki for my is, that i can leave my smartphone and my keys at home and use my watch to unlock my front door.
yes, i am totally frustrated, because at home the app says that the bridge and the opener and everything is connected to the online servers, and yes, thats true. if i take my smartphone with my, i can unlock my front door, and i can also use my watch to unlock it, as the connection is established through the smartphone connection and not directly from the watch itself.
but leaving the smartphone elsewhere, the watch is not able to connect to the opener. i checked LTE, and the watch is online, i can do phone calls, check for mails, so i have a cloud connection. so there must be an issue with the WatchOS app.
so guys, stop trashing your source code and ffs realize that you system is mandatory to you users.
if it’s not reliable to 100% it’s useless.
Did you already contact our customer support and thus provide us more detailled insights with your App logs?
If not, please do so by creating a support ticket via App → Side Menu → Help → Contact customer support and provide as much information/details as possible.
Yes I did. And it’s the same process like last time.
I am advised to delete the bridge and reconfigure all my devices, and trust me I did it several times, also the last time I had this issue and nothing changed. And somehow a few weeks later a new beta software was released and then everything worked like a charm. and again I am sure this is -again- a software issue. but support says I have to do it. hm!

And whats also annoying is, that the support is asking over and over again the same questions and sends me again and again the same FAQ excerpts.
Now I have to send the Logs again, it’s the third time! and everytime I send the logs with the ticket number as a reference. and then it seems that the whole process starts again with
I deleted the nuki app, reinstalled it and now i am trying to reconnect my devices. the smartlock worked immediately. It’s also connected to the bridge. But the Opener is not working anymore.
My wife is able to control the opener with her nuki app, but the app says now, that the opener is no longer connected to the bridge and i am absolutely not able to bring the opener into pairing mode.
Holding the Button fpr 5+ seconds results in nothing. the opener is always just set into maintenance mode, but never reaches pairing mode. so… now we are all locked out and need keys again.
does anyone have an idea how i can pair the opener again to the bridge? oh and yes, completely new batteries are inserted.
