Widget action should not open the app

Is there a possibility that the app wouldn’t be open after I did a widget-action?
Because this isn’t necessary!

We decided to do it that way as we can not show the state/state changes in a widget reliably AND instantly.
So the reason is for the user to see if it worked/failed (while it does not slow the lockAction itself). Do you think this feedback is not needed (at least for some users)?

Maybe you are right. I don’t know if it would be possible in Android to give the feedback with a sound. But all in all it would be nice if this feature would be configurable.

Philips hue lights widgets do just that AND it is the expected behavior, IMHO

Hello, I also think that the sound and/or vibration feedback is enough. So it’s not necessary to open the app. Maybe there is a possibility to let users decide to open the app or just have a feedback.

Please let the wigdet do the action just by clicking.
For secure actions like opening a nuki lock, the smartphone must be unlocked.
For unsecure actions like opening a nuki opener, that should also work immediately and even when smartphone is locked.

this would be a great feature.
@MatthiasK: if it will fail to open or unlock the door, you could just send a push notification.

would be great if the widget would open/unlock the door without opening the app.
