Nuki smart lock 2 unresponsive

Out of the sudden my Nuki stopped responding to the commands i was giving through the app. The bluetooth connection was fine and also bridge connection but unlock/lock/open could not be executed by the lock and only 3 beeps could be heard by the app each time a command was given. In addition i was not able to access the manage smart lock menu. At first i disconnected the bridge and reconnected it with no result. I then thought that maybe the batteries depleted and removed them to check with a battery tester but they were full. I then placed them back and now the lock is behaving normally again. My question is what if this issue occurs when i am away and nobody is at home to remove the battery pack? And what if i need to unlock the door for someone while i am away if this issue happens again?

If the Smart Lock is not running on the latest Firmware (2.7.20), please update the firmware.

Smart lock was already updated to version 2.7.20 days ago thank you.

We had the same issue as above yesterday, our firmware is on latest available version.
When we initially started using the lock it was stable, recently it is acting up more and more, i have an idea this is related to the door sensor which is still in beta, should we disable this sensor function as your developers apparently are not confident and keep it in beta?
