My Nuki Opener has suddenly stopped working properly after about two years of flawless operation.
When someone rings our apartment, they can hear the ringing sound outside at the building entrance. However:
• The intercom phone inside the apartment does not ring
• The door does not buzz
• There is no log of the ring in the Nuki app (no event in the action log)
So it seems like the Opener is not detecting the ring signal at all.
As far as I’m aware, nothing has changed in the setup or configuration. No wiring changes, no intentional settings changes. It just suddenly stopped working.
This is particularly stressful because the system is installed in our holiday rental, which is about 2,000 km away, and our most recent guests couldn’t get in.
Is this a known issue? Could it be a firmware/software bug, or is it more likely a hardware/wiring issue? Has anyone experienced something similar?
