Summary

When bridge is used Lock should connect to Homekit via bridge WiFi

Reason

Bluetooth has short range, wifi long.

Examples

To be able to use Lock from Homekit also when out of Bluetooth range.

This is not possible and allowed with the current Apple HomeKit guidelines.

You could try one of the Homebridge plugins, e.g. GitHub - ebaauw/homebridge-nb: Homebridge plugin for Nuki Bridge. It also exposes the Opener and door sensor to HomeKit.

If the lock is in Bluetooth range of your home hub (AppleTV, HomePod), you should still be able to use it in Home, even if your iPhone is out of range, similar to HomeKit remote access.
