Nuki 3.0 connected but offline

According to the app, everything is connected well… Perfect green semi circle.

My daughter is there now and removed the battery and replaced it in the lock, with no effect… :roll_eyes:

what helps me: unplug the bridge, wait a few seconds, re-plug the bridge. Now it woks again.

Now I need to install a wi-fi smartplug to be able to reset it…

yes, you either do re-plug every month or so… Or use a smart plug. I use the smart plug from bosch which is really reliable.

by the way: i know 5 people owning a bridge. All of them have the problem. And nuki is not able to find the bug so far.

that happen to me time to time and usually affects only the smart lock not the opener…

It is not a good feeling knowing that it happens sometimes. Even 1x is 1x too much. The smart plug is an easy solution. However, this should be fixed immediately from Nuki.

I can highly recommend the smart plug from Philips hue in case someone has a hue bridge. the overall system is extremely reliable - so no worries anymore.

Yeah I have the same problem from time to time, I am unplugging and plugging the bridge also.

Maybe they should just reset it every night :joy:

On modern android smartphones or routers you can set: 1x per week restart or so. this would be great.

it would be better if it works just reliable and done.

Hi ! We still have the problem with the new Nuki 4.0 Pro with WIFI embeded.

It is a nightmare. I can’t create new autorisations without calling someone on site to remove the battery and plug it again.

After this I can connect for a few minutes but afet the firs sleep of the lock, it is no longer possbile to connect to it from nuki web.

Locally in bluetooth for existing autrosiation all is ok. We see also a log in nuki web saying that the lock updated something every hour but what ?
And the log of activities is not refershen and we can’t create new autorisations.

That’s a bit sad that this knonw pronble has not been fixed yet.

PS: I have also other WIFI equipment as smoke sensor from XSENSE. I see them. The local WIFI is not in cause.
This is this dumb Smartlock firmware that has an issue with the NUKI Web connection. It’s not from time to time for the 3. it has now worsen it is every time. every hour for the 4.

Miracle one key received 4.1.8 firmware update (not the other why ?) .
The key with 4.1.8 is available now online.
The other not.

After a restart of the second smartlock, they have now the 4.1.8 firmware and they are both online now. Let’s hope this firmware update fix definitively the offline topic

Again offline and unable to create new credentials.

Same issue with nuki with embedded Wi-Fi, it randomly disconnect and the problem is not the WiFi because I’ve other connected devices to the same router. Very upset on this, Nuki should immediately fix it

Same for me. This lock is only “reliable” in bluetooth, what is the interrest?

Same issue , it is showing as offline.
Sometimes I get it online , but is not stable and when I really need it I got it offline.
It is in additional to other problems with this “smart” lock…

Below I tell you the steps taken by colleague Florian who has solved the issue in his Smart lock Pro 4.0 (integrated Wi-Fi)

  • Disable LOG EVENS in settings.
  • Unlock Nuki Web and delete the user “NukiWeb” in settings and cancel the account.

By disabling Log & Nuki Web, Nuki now works fine, if there are disconnections again:

  • Uninstall the App and reinstall. Also take out the battery and reinsert it after 5 minutes.
    Please confirm that it has worked for all of you.
