Notifications incongruent to activity log

I woke up this morning to a notification that NUKI had been opened manually at 3am in the morning. Which was impossible as I was sleeping and no one else was in the apartment.

I check d the activity log and it didn’t include this. Is there any reason for this?

The timestamp is coming from your OS, which means that if you see a notification for 3:53 am, your device only got the notification from Apples notification framework at this time. This can have the following reasons:

  • Your Nuki Bridge was offline from the time the action happened till the time the notification was sent for some reason
  • The notification was delayed on Apples side for some reason

Thanks, that’s strange I guess. It registered me opening the door when I came in at 21 but not the closing or locking of it until 03…
