How long does Nuki Webhook take to realise my Lock is offline?

Hello Nuki,

I am using the advanced API integration and I am subscribed to DEVICE_STATUS notification to check when a device goes offline.

To test it, I have unplugged the batteries from my Nucki Smart Lock but after some minutes I did not get any notification yet and the Nuki Web portal still shows it as connected.

How often Nuki Web check if a device is offline? There is no information in the Webhook documentation about timings.

The offline state will only be noticed on the next sync from server side. This is latest after 24 hours.
Note that we are not constantly checking the state actively as this would drain the batteries on the device, so you can not use it as a real-time monitoring tool.
