I am writing regarding the compatibility of the Elvox 8879. Looking back at forum entries from 2019/2020, Nuki stated that an integration for the Opener was not yet available. Almost seven years have passed since then, but there haven’t been any official updates in those discussions.
While some users have managed to make it work through DIY workarounds involving soldering, this is not an option for me. As I live in a rented apartment, I cannot risk damaging or permanently modifying the intercom. I am looking for an official, “plug-and-play” integration.
Are there currently any plans or capacities to integrate this specific model? If hardware for testing is needed, I am more than happy to provide my intercom for testing purposes—just let me know what data or steps are required from my side.
